There was also a tidy old 5J, Serial # 5J1152SP (which is only slightly newer than Toby's 5J1113):

And a really nice low hour late model 5U (18,000 serial number range) with a toolbar:

I realise its a long time since I've updated this thread sorry, but last summer holidays I got the D2 back in the shed and replaced all the roller seals. I also rebuilt the carb and put new points and a condenser in the mag:

After I'd finished I put it straight to work pulling some big eucalyptus logs for firewood.

Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed reading this thread, right from the first post.

The factory original paint and decals have also really helped with us trying to now recreate our own decals.
