First off, I think that place is fantastic. :biggrin1:

Now I MAY step on the toes of many in California but I believe many in California would have a heart attack if this guy were to bring some of his toys to Santa Margaria (because so many in California are Anti-Gun). :frown:

For me, that would be ultra fantastic to see just a small portion of his stuff. :usa2: I MAY decide to take a trip up there sometime and see it. :biggrin1:

Hi, Orrin.
So when are going th head on down there and twist his arm to get some of his stuff out to Santa Margarita? C'mom, Man, you can't spend all your time lazing back with a coldie in front of the TV. LOL.

He has probably never heard of Santa Margarita or the show and you could be doing him a big favor by enlarging his edj-u-mac-ayshun.

Trubble being, he might have to weld up a few breeches to avoid getting BUSTED in CA.. LOL.

Just my 0.02.

Hey Team,

My son Kevin and his crew are hauling in the Cat 773 from Las Vegas to Santa Margarita Show. The load started out on looking like this, but the bed must have been re-lined and the machine weighs some 8000lbs more than listed. We had to unload, turn the truck around and load backwards, remove the outside dual tires and rims, suck 125 gallons of fuel out of it, and remove the cat walks and spill plates. Closest balancing act of any load to date in my 43 years of hauling. I hope everyone enjoys this one, as it's been an exspensive move. :eyebrows:

Here's how it scaled

Hi, Glen.
I have maintained from my first visit to your fair state that your transport 'rools' are strangling the joint. Glad you managed to get it sorted out and thank you and your team for all your efforts.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

That is a fine looking load, and you creatively overcame the barriers and unexpected issues that got in your way. I'm glad that my training during the TONKA move is paying off for you.

That load is GARLIC APPROVED.

Now, to let you all in on a little of the back channel discussion:

7upuller texted me that copy of the weight ticket late last night (about 10:00 pm, according to my phone. I was snoring.)

Those weights raised my eyebrows, as with Garlic loads, we AVOID the scales, so didn't really know the 769 weight. I told 7u, either the 773 is a lot heavier than the 769 or I was a lot heavier than I thought. No wonder it took so long to get going with that thing!

I told him at least I'll have the advantage off the line in the TONKA drags. 7u suggested we race for pinks. I agreed, except that I told him I don't have a pink because the bank keeps it locked up in a drawer. 7u told me "No problem, we'll do it redneck style. Winner takes over the loser's car payments!"

When you show up at Santa Margarita, keep your eyes peeled for the big red, green and yellow light Christmas Tree, white line with burnout area and W I D E L Y spaced rows of cones. The race is on! Garlic Mom will be making book and taking odds. She's got her green eyeshade, change maker and chit book all warmed up and ready to take your business.

This message is GARLIC APPROVED.

Pete.
