Hi, Garlic Pete.
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.

If we get many more 'permanent residents' down there, we might hafta consider setting an armed guard there to stop Ritchie Bros from turning in into an auction site.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

You live in one of the most beautiful places in California. Come on down to another slice of heaven in a mixed up State called SANTA Margarita and a ticket will cost you $10.00 a day or $25.00 for the 3 days. You can buy them at the gate.

Well,

I will make the "official" announcement that I, my wife and two grand daughters will be there. I have gotten them to promise that I can get there each day at opening time (8 AM) and stay until closing time.

I am looking forward to seeing many of you and in fact I have ordered an official ACMOC Name Tag so anyone and everyone can "see" who I am.

See you ALL there! (now, where is that wobbly wheel ripper?) :D :D :D :D

Hi, Walt 3TD7.
M8, yer won't reckernize that wobbly-wheel ripper. Glen done gone and 'disguised' it by fixin' ther wobbly wheel.

I dunno wott goes on, Walt, but I seem ter have all sortsa people comin' up 'n' greetin' me by name at these shows, even with out a name tag - - - kinda like I'm NO-torious er sumpin. D'yer think it could be the DowNunda sun tan?

A kew-ree-yuss mind would like ter know. But it ain't gonna stop me bein' me.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Thanks for hooking us up with the great little link belt. It looks like a high quality machine that will be in a nice retirement at the Ranch.

It will be nice to have multiple booms in the air at the show in May. This has been something that we have needed since inception and will be a great addition. I sure wish we had a cool steam shovel or a really big old shovel or dragline to go along with the 2 link belt speeders. All things in time. Anyone have any ideas? We also need some dump wagons to use with the elevating grader if any one knows of any operational dump wagons that may be available.

It is good to see some booms coming, as Tom said, this is something we wished the show had in previous years.

We're going to start carrying a couple of interesting books in the Club store about Northwest Engineering. Northwest used Caterpillar power plants in some of their products, and they definitely worked side by side. The two books are published by Buffalo Road Imports and written by M. E. Folsom and M. Torres. They are volume one and two of a photographic archive, volume one covers the beginning in 1920 to the 1940's. Volume two picks up in the 1940's and covers up through the 1960's. They are working on volume three, which will cover through the 1990's and the end of Northwest.

Here are some selected photos from volume one, which show some of the scenes we'd like to recreate. If you know of someone with a boom, or with any of these nifty dump wagons or other equipment, tell them we need them at the show. This stuff will work great with the Sixty Elevating Grader, too.

Neat Model 2 with logs for boom, loading logs. With the logging cruisers and winch tractors expected at this show, something like this would be really neat to arrange.

Northwest Model 6 with Sixty and dump wagons.

Finally, a Northwest Model 4 and a neat little Koehring dump wagon.

We'd love to have stuff like this working and showing its stuff at the show. If you know about it, get it coming!

Pete.
