I watched your video finally! Dig you get the bank dug down? With a Loader, you normally would tear in, scoop and carry. Pushing it like you are in the video is more of a Dozer operator style.
IMO
yes got her dug down and moved back about 10 feet
the loader pushes good

I like those big old gas trucks Charles, getting a bit rarer these days. If it does the job, who's to argue : ) My father used to crop-dust and the old-time loader trucks were all gas, and I particularly remember one which was an Australian International ACCO model 1950 I think with a gas V-8 and auto transmission - sounded awesome, and no clouds of smoke either! : ) Wish I had a photo of it.
Cheers,
Neil

It might be a bit of a stretch to find wheels like you are looking for. I looked for some a few years ago unsucessfully. Might be an option to get a set of axles out of an old semi trailer and stick under it.

How about a better photo of the rims.
there is a lot of confusion around about what a suicide rim really is.

The ones in the picture are not suicide rims but rather the retaining ring ones. If they were not rusted so badly they would probably be fine. Just need to air them up in a cage after changing the tire using a hands free air chuck. Still hard to find them 5 hole wheels with the big studs.

I use to run those retaining ring rims on a 1965 Ford N600 with a 390 gas engine. I think I had 8.25 or 8.5 width tires on them? I think eventually I had 9.00's on the back but they did wear more in the center of the tires. I had some God awful loads on that old Truck! I remember scaling 36,000 lbs gross a few times with it!
20,000 lbs of pipe with a 16,000 empty weight. This used to drive the pipe buyer nuts because he couldn't believe the truck would haul it! Thank God, it had 10 gears as I used them all more than a few times!
The suicide rims split in the middle as I had one for a spare. We used to wrap log chains around it while airing it up. Actually we log chained the Ring rims also just in case!

heres some quick photos Andrew
im seriously thinking about passing on that trailer ,just on the fact it has split rims .if it had lock ring rims i would be fine with it
but the widow makers i don't like .even the tire shops wont change them . danger!!
the widow makers lock at the center of the wheel with a 5 degree taper as i understand ,if they get rusty and dont have this minimal interference under as little as 10 psi they can come apart at a very violent and rapid rate

No sense in buying it "cheap", then putting a ton of money into new wheels and hubs or axles! Better to wait and search for a better trailer!
