well i have acquired new parts from a trusted vender about 4 feet of 7/16x20 threaded rod for repair of the break band adjusting rod
been a while since i have had a chance to work on this project
lots of stuff going on /normal wear and tear items ,lawn mower belts radiators going out on the wifes car .
seems like all manners of stuff jumping in front of my projects
ill be off work for a week in about a week so hopefully i can get down in there and make it happen
ill try to post up some pics

If you were able to cut the bevel on the teeth with a power hack saw the material is probably to soft. Certainly good for awhile.

i cut it on a band saw i have in the shop just for stuff like this its a 7"x12" bandsaw turn pro on a stand like this one
www.use-enco.com/CGI/INPDFF?PMPAGE=564&PMITEM=137-3175
it will cut even the wear edge steel altho it takes longer
the bucket teeth should be hard enough for me not to wear them out while i have the machine
and while i was there i welded up all the spots on the bucket i felt were not built up enough
and filled up some small cracks
