hi all
yet another project for the loader im about a week in on this one pushing trees and digging out alot of mud
and muck .this area im digging in has been the end of the property and where all the water drains from all the fields .its really a sediment pond thats filled up over the years.
this is the first attempt at cleaning it out and building a small earthen dam ill get some picks up of the progress
i have got stuck no less than 3 times already .
so far i have been fortunate as there were trees close enough
i hooked 2 20 ft logging chains together .
one end to a tree the other end onto the track
then just winched myself out with the loader power,

You'll learn to charge WAY MORE for those "S%^&Hole" projects!
Its the cost of the extra abuse the mud puts on your machine and frustration of un-sticking yourself!

You'll learn to charge WAY MORE for those "S%^&Hole" projects!
Its the cost of the extra abuse the mud puts on your machine and frustration of un-sticking yourself!
i hear ya on the extra wear on the machine that mud is heavy
unfortunately for me, its my pond lololol !!!!!!
ill get some pics over the holiday ill be doing some digging

i have a couple days in this just messing around in the evenings
its a sedimate pond for the farm
all the runoff will hit this pond before going down stream to a small creek .
any tips and tricks for pond building are welcome
the loader is running great

thanks so much
im going to get them on order and try and get them on soon as possible
i been turning left for a few months
but at last the left break band has worn down from doing double duty
do you know any one that relines these bands or should i look for new?

Any good clutch/brake rebuilder should be able to redo the linings. Preferred method now is bonding the linings rather than riveting.

hi guys its been a while and i have started new clearing job with my 933f cat. while i was pushing a bunch of privet hedges and small trees between 6 and 8 inches around ,i noticed that my loader was not preforming like usual. really that small a tree no problem and pushing a pile of them across the ground into a large pile is no sweat for this lil loader it can push alot larger trees and i was just getting the teetth in the dirt deep enough to up root all the smaller brush it is a hedge row between 2 fields i am making into 1 big field . anyway the engine was set at a constant speed i dont know the rpm but i know what speed i like and the loader preformes fine under heavy load at this speed . i was about done with half of this hedge row and almost had it into a finished pile when my lil cat started having problems . the engine speed stayed the same and it just slowley stoped pushing i looked down and im in first gear and the tracks are not moving . so i disengage the clutch and it rolls back off the pile and i snap it over again and the same thing is going on
ok my first thought is that i need a clutch but i was only operating this machine for 2 hours no problem till about the last 15 or 20 min of operation
. i did some reasearch online and have found out that this is a wet clutch system and i assume that there is a level check some where or a stick and a fill hole . if im correct really all i need to know is what type of oil i need to put in and how much it holds and what stick to check to get me back on track .

More likely than adding oil, you probably need to adjust the clutch. You don’t mention if it “snaps” in and out like it used to when it was pulling well. If it’s degenerated to just a “pull it back and it goes “ operation without the snap, definitely adjust it tighter.
Oil clutch will have an access cover on top where you can reach in and adjust it. Don’t know if it will have a pull out button to lock the adjusting ring to the pressure plate or will have a couple nuts tightening down on square”ish” clamp plates you have to loosen before turning the ring clockwise, but one of those will be the system to hold the adjustment. If it’s the nuts and clamp plates type, do not over tighten the nuts.......stripping the studs will require disassembly to replace them.
If it’s still got the right snap to it when you pull it back, then it’s possible your main clutch is fine but your steering clutches need adjusting though it usually doesn’t affect both equally and at the same time. You determine the need for adjustment of the steering clutches by measuring free travel (or lack of same) as you pull the steering clutch levers back. There must be some free travel or the clutch packs will be held partially disengaged so they slip more easily. Also make sure there’s nothing in front of the levers preventing them going back forward when you release. Sometimes a stick or a buildup if twigs will get between the bumper and its pad and keep them from fully engaging. Once you’re sure the levers are going fully forward you can measure the free travel at the bottom of the black grip on the sticks. Should be about 3” but as long as there’s any amount the clutch should not slip. Guess it’s also possible there is oil collecting in the steering clutch compartments that needs draining away and has oiled the clutch packs and made them slip under load but again this is sort of a long shot.
