Look at those sprockets, carrier rollers and idlers. This might be the only time any of us have a chance to see what things looked like when they rolled off the assembly line!
Good work!
Pete.

Hi, ROME/KG.
THAT shop, and the work that comes out of it, would be the envy of MANY a restorer. If you ever get the chance to see it and the results, GRAB said chance with BOTH hands and DON'T let go until the deal is done.
Hi, Matt and Doug.
Great save and great work on the restoration. Thanks for sharing the adventure with all of us on the BB.
just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Unfortunately the engine covers were no where to be found. It seems that everything that was half way easy to remove with a screwdriver, pliars, and a cresant wrench was missing. The fuel tank was found over in the bushes, but that was really the only notable find to the Best..
The mechanical restoration is going really well up here in Placerville, the engine is pretty much done waiting for a few cast parts before we make smoke. We just dove into the rear end yesterday, its in better shape than the engine was. Few bushing and bearings, new brake liners and we will move on to the Undercarriage rollers......

Matt, it basically hadn't done any mobile work but worked as a stationary power source up that hill? Do you know if it had history before that role? You're really making great progress - I wish I could say the same.... If you also have a day job, I'm just going to hang my head in shame : )
Cheers,
Neil
