Hi Tom,

I sent you an e-mail. Corporate America has dropped the hammer on us. Hertz is back pedaling:mad: . They have said no to helpng any further with tables, chairs, message boards, manlifts, and water trucks. I will try another source for a water truck. If anyone can help call glen @ 415-720-5936.

Hi, Tom.
I don't know if this will help but have you approached the local Teamsters Union about help with transport of machines to and from? I'm told they get their fingers into a lot of pies so they may be able to help in other ways too. Just a thought as I'm not all that familiar with the Local's antics and associations.

I'd see about getting that Willie out from in front of his TV too. He'll end up getting fat and lazy. LOL.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Willie,

You ae so full of s**t. Folks, I have to be truthful here. Willie has really impressed me. The guy is non stop working for this show. He has more reserve power than the ever ready bunny. Willie I would like to thank you for all the hard work you have been doing. You have impressed even me.-glen

Hi, 7Upuller.
Did you notice the 'LOL' after the bit about Willie in my last post? I have already decided long ago to buy the man a drink at the show if he'll let me. ANYBODY who will do what Willie has done in restoring and donating that Cat 22 for the raffle is deserving of no little respect. And that's just ONE thing that I know about.

I also take my hat off to others here for their efforts. As far away as I am at the moment, I'm only reading between the lines, but I'm seeing some posts here from you about show business, so I'd guess that you are putting in some effort.

Tom Madden's private message box is full and refusing to accept any more PM's, so I'd guess he is too busy to look at them.

GWH has e-mailed me with a request to take photos at the show for ACMOC's records - which I have gladly accepted - and he has other posts up here on different matters, so I'd guess that his shady trees and Lazy Boy are getting a bit neglected too.

Garlic Pete appears to have put in a couple of great efforts moving machines at weekends, along with some help from others.

I'd be willing to bet that there are others that I don't know about too but I take my hat off to all of you who are helping to make this show come together, organisers, workers and exhibitors alike.

Thank you.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Tom or Glen,

For those of us who have to work right up until the start of the BSOT on Friday, will it be possible to trailer in our machines Thursday afternoon/evening before dark? Or is it preferred that we bring them in on Friday morning (6/20)? Thursday evening (before sunset) would work well for my schedule, if someone is there to process us in and direct us where they want things to be placed.

I've been an ACMOC Member since Jan 2007 and just yesterday I bought and picked up my first Cat, a D46U with Blade and Ripper! Whoopee! While I'd prefer to do some TLC work on her before her "debut" I would also like to join this soon-to-be spectacular event as more than just a "tourist"! FYI: I am planning on faxing in my Exhibitor Registration form and my Prime Rib Dinner request (if there are still seats available.) tonight from home.

Al, I know that it is often said that "you don't want to miss this one" and I have been saying that for a long time with the BSOT. I hope you can find a way to come out and take in the show with all of your Cat friends, this is the one that will be talked about for years and years to come.
