when exaclty are these zoom meetings that the board has decided apon and anounced by kurt happening. i havent heard anymore about them.

D4Jim - You are right on the money. OM, so are you and TK88. Let any member you know that does not get on this forum know.
One of our challenges as a club is that a huge percentage on members do not go online. They have to be contacted by mail or phone. A majority of the members have an alarming letter in hand and are not getting on here to find a balance.
Jim, you are right, what these guys are doing is highly destructive. It has certainly set back the work the BoD is doing by a month and a half plus, time that we can ill afford to lose. It has caused the club to spend money that it can ill afford to spend.
They have made statements that are both ignorant and (to put it extremely nicely), misleading. They have phrased their ignorant and misleading statements in alarming ways and have implied that they have been "allowing" the current board to "find their way", and now, they just have to step in and provide adult supervision. What egos they must have.
I'm glad that more than a few people recall the incompetence that they applied to the operation of the club in the past. Even the effort that they are making now is incompetent, they did not follow the proper procedure and this will be a total waste.
Now, if the goal is to tear the club apart and put its future at great risk, they have done a brilliant job of that.
Every member should be angry with these people for what they are doing. And Jim, you're right, they should call it off, but time is short.

They will be happening on the 9th in the US, we will have additional meetings for Europe and Asia Pacific on the tenth. You will be getting an email shortly and the times and link will be in the announcements section. It will do you no good to harp on getting more members on the BB or to become more computer savey. That's just not a realistic assessment of who club members are.
It's the role of the Chapter Leaders to pass on the appropriate information although it is unrealistic to dump the issues on them.

Hi, Folks.
I have so far refrained from naming names from among the 'coup' clique and I have my own reasons for that, mostly to do with a 'possible' reconciliation, which is more and more appearing to be a forlorn hope.
There have been upheavals in the past within the club, mostly having to do with how the various BoDs were running the club and, strangely enough - wouldn't yer just know it - mostly centered around a goodly number of the 'coup' malcontents. I could name some names and describe some of the issues but I don't see that it would accomplish anything beneficial to the club.
What I would like to see is this clique of people who would take over the club admit that there was/is ZERO legality to their actions, settle down, rejoin the rest of us and let's ALL get on with enjoying our interests, sharing our knowledge and experiences and celebrating 'Yellow Fever'.
Even some of the people who have not yet refuted their membership of the 'coup clique' have a LOTTTT of knowledge and experience to offer the club azza whole but there are 'right' and 'wrong' ways to go about doing that.
Just my 0.02.

Definitely! The great thing about this club is that it is made up of enthusiasts from all over the world. For the first time in club history, the BoD is holding meetings so that members from widely different time zones can participate.Just wondering if there was a spot for us Canadians?
