Main engine is really starting to clean up, hardly any smoke now.
Pony motor started on the first pull today.
Everything is purring like a kitty Cat should

Well I had to kick the Cat out of the house.
I have some projects to do this winter and although it's really cool to look at it just takes up valuable space.
I bought a trailer cover to keep the birds and what not off and it will be under cover.
Next spring I will get going on it again, but not to much to do now.
There will be a new attachment built for it next summer, stay tuned.

Throw a few bait bars under the cover to keep the &^#$*% mice from taking up residence in places you don't want them.

That is sound advice, thank you. I've dealt with mice problems before, I'll get something under the cover by week's end.

i was told keep the clutch engaged to stop it warping the clutch plates.
and yes put some rodent baits hanging on wire hook around the machine to keep them out the wire stops em going missing and helps prevent accidental poisoning of pets and wildlife.
and roll that cover up so it doesnt touch the ground or it will sweat and rust your machine particularly because it under the shed awning and on a gravel floor or you have to heavily oil the floor to stop the damp from rising. the best floor is concrete. another thing is park the machine on treated timber stair treads so the thing is out of the dirt and moisture.

Thanks for the tips. The cover is for trailer house and has screen vents so that will help.

a friend of the family, his nephew had a classic car he was going to restore and he had stored it in a shed with dirt floor. fully intending togetarountuit one day, well when he finally did and hooked the 4wd on to it to pull it from the shed the body sheared off leaving the floor pan behind. apparently he just sat on the grass and cried for a half hr. the moisture had destroyed it.

I made it through last winter with no moisture or rodent problems so I've got the d2 laid up for winter the same way. Hoping to make it through another winter the same way!

I was rummaging through the tool box on a d2 parts track and hit the jackpot. Found a homemade injection pump bleeder screw wrench. It was pretty crusty but a little wd40 and a few minutes on the wire wheel and it looks pretty good
