Thanks for the reply I hope cararra and chriscokid are looking. I will certainly post progress. I live in Christchurch, New Zealand so as you could imagine seeing these lowloaders in the flesh is difficult for me. I can see plenty Caterpillar tractors and I have had the opportunity to measure a few, I just need to spend the time to draw them up. I have 2 items completed, the Cat 10 and a Russell grader.
I do have a copy of a 1938 Rogers brochure but unfortunately the scan quality is low and measurement are not readable.

Oneless,
I hope you're doing ok with the earthquake. I'll be down there with the family after Xmas to visit the in-laws in Tima-vegas for their golden anniversary.
Are there any enthusiasts in the area that would have some old yellow rust for me to look at?
Cheers,
Neil

We are ok, nothing like the ones right in Christchurch a few years back. We feel very sorry for those in Kaikoura, it will take some recovery. My interest is in drawing for model making purposes industrial vehicles and railway related. I am a retired draftsman. I know of a few collections of machinery and one big Cat collection at Rangiora just out of Christchurch. The Cat collection that was at Rotorua is somewhere in Kaikoura in storage. It is to be relocated to Ferrymead Historic Park at some stage depending on the negotiations and transporting to Christchurch. The roads up that way are just reopening via an alternative inland route as all the coast roads are closed.
