Hey OilSlick,
That's about the same size as my LS-51. I'd say 30,000 lbs. or 15 ton. No problem, even for a KW....hahahaha

Hi, Mike Mc.
Do you have a model # for it? It looks like a Bucyrus Erie 15 which would be around the 15-ton mark, give or take, depending on the rigging at the time. The dragline rig is usually the lightest and the face shovel the heaviest. That cable back-actor would be somewhere in between would be my guess.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

I had 2 14 RB same type of thing made in pommy land and they went 14.7 ton for the back actor like that and the one with the boom was around 14.5 ton over the weigh bridge at the scrap yard that was a few days before I got married years ago the wife to be reckon I needed to clean my act up before the big day and well it payed for the honeymoon after that I put foot down (If any of you suckers believe that your bigger fools than me)
Paul
so I would guess it would be around 15.5 ton

Mike-
Is that located near my area? ~25-30 years ago there was something at least similar to this at the Whitmore Mine between Mojave and Rosamond.
