Hey Jan,
Thanks for reminding me. Yes, I went and asked, but the painter is a contract person that has not been there the last 3 visits. I'm still working on it...

Hey Team,
Today was an Awesome Day!!! I headed up to the Santa Rosa PetersonStore to deliver the Decal set that Mary from the ACMOC office sent to us. Kent Bates took the time to make sure things were correct. ACMOC can even get the Tin Signs with tractor number(i.e. D8) and the Caterpillar logo that goes vertical on the side of the hard nose. On the way I stopped to get Phil a Frappicino... That red neck didn't know what one was... Hahahaha so I told him to just sip on it... ROFLMAO.. He told me to keep busy un-wrapping the decal set and give him 20 minutes... Dang, 19 minutes later he started both engines and smiled... The girls came to life and drove out of the shop bay and headed to the wash rack... The seat tanks and floor boards are still off for painting. Tuesday the painter will paint the tractor and tops of transmissions. Then the fuel tanks, floor boards, Ccu, dozer blade, and grills will go back on. Then touch up paint again. Enjoy the videos...

Hey Team,
Some pictures...
Oh Yea... The electric start on right engine works great. The pony, Phil wants to put some elbow grease too and get just right, but runs and did its job. In the yard a mechanic saw some fluid drop from under the tractor. It was wash water dripping out, but the engines were shut down for safety. Upon starting again, Phil wanted to test Ed Akins, and our design, and Phil started the right engine with electric starter, then compression started the left engine by locking the inner drive frictions. It works Great...

Hi, Glen.
Great stuff. It's been a while getting to this stage, but it looks like it will be well and truly worth it. Thanks for the videos.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Hey Glen,
Two questions, actually maybe three. One, why is the plastic covering both radiators, do the engines NOT need cooling?
Second, you mentioned Ed Akins in your posts, how is he doing? I have NOT head any news about him lately. I hope he is doing very well.
Third, I assume the Siamese Twin D8's will be a Santa Margarita next year, will there be any opportunity for some of us to drive it (them)?
I sure hope so.
AND, thank you for sharing the video's.
