I'll second Marco's comments. This is simply amazing.
I believe there are some Ten models floating around out there. What would it take to model the Ten and potato planter?
Since we have the prototype, photos and details would be easy to obtain.
Might make a good Christmas present for Garlic Mom.
Pete.
Hey Pete - Firstly, thank you for your kind words! They mean a lot to me. Secondly, wow! That would be one amazing implement to design and print! Designing it would be easy enough with the photographs and measurements. If there are really intricate mechanical parts I can't say for certain that I can make them identical. Think a gear that's 3" and divide that by 16 - that would be a 3/16ths of an inch when scaled down.

But, like the Willamette Ersted winch on the Twenty here, we can make the necessary changes. Let me know if you're serious about pursuing it and we'll figure something out. Don't sweat the technicals too much. I love doing this so much, I'll work with you.

Final video update of the finished model. Don't forget to mouse over the gear in the bottom right of the video and select 720P for HD for the clearest image.

Hi guys
Are there any blueprint available as I would also like to build a Cat scale model and any model from the 1940 should be OK.
Best regards

That is amazing. Beautiful. With the seat facing towards the back, it is not for driving the machine backwards. This is for when it is working, raising logs, machinery, etc., anything else that might need lifting. You sit in the regular Cat seat to drive the machine any other place. The rear facing seat you made is just strictly for operating the Donkey Winch. catskinner
