ACMOC
Chapter Nineteen
Southeast Australia
Victoria and Tasmania
Formed in 2014 after a hugely successful ‘Caterpillar’ Rally at Lake Goldsmith, Victoria, Chapter 19 has a shed at the Lake Goldsmith earthmoving arena which serves as a display centre for our members' collections where the general public can come and enjoy the story of Caterpillar equipment. Our members also get special access to technical information, tooling and replica parts along with discounted ACMOC, Chapter and Caterpillar merchandise. You do not need to own a Caterpillar tractor to be a member. We have many members that just enjoy the history of earthmoving and the Caterpillar brand and the camaraderie of being in a Club like ACMOC. Chapter 19 also offers membership renewal services locally and is a NHMA member Club, offering public liability insurance Australia wide. We serve the States of Victoria & Tasmania, but also have members across all of Australia.

TASSIE 100-YEAR EVENT A RUN AWAY SUCCESS

As reported in Edition#173 of the magazine our first ever standard alone ACMOC event was an amazing success with 3520 people through the gate. Check out the images from the show here.

AUSSIE CAT TRACTOR REGISTRY

Helps us track down and keep a register of Aussie tractors up to the 1960's to assist members on who to go to for information, advice and potentially parts from collectors and owners nationally.

A great initiative from Mike Meyer - thanks to everyone that has already registered their tractor and to Mike for using the many events in 2025 to gather such records. Let's not stop there, please download the form (CHAPTER FORMS TAB) and send it back to Mike or contact him direct at  [email protected]

2025 Limited Edition Spec Boards

To encourage and reward members, that pre-register and display Cat products at one of the sanctioned Cat centenary events for 2025, Chapter 19 will organise a professionally printed colour spec board on durable and weatherproof PVC featuring the ACMOC logo and Caterpillar 100-years logos.

This will help our event coordinators plan for each event, while also ensuring our displays are consistent, professional and provide quality information to spectators.

How do I get one?

To qualify for your FREE PVC spec board, you must complete and submit the registration forms no later than 2 weeks prior to the first day of the first event you are attending. The spec boards then will be handed out at the event by the ACMOC coordinator.

The program FAQ and forms have been emailed out to Chapter 19 members, or contact us on [email protected] if you need a copy.

FIRST CENTENNIAL EVENT AT GEELONG

Our first Caterpillar Centennial event this year!

While the very hot Saturday and wet Sunday kept afternoon crowds away, it would be fair to say our first event for the Caterpillar Centennial year was a success, showcasing modern Next Generation Cat products alongside historical versions. Our new centennial flags looked great and will help make us stand out at various shows throughout this year. Merchandise and other materials are still on their way, so looking forward to our events in the next few months. Special thanks to Marty, Rohan and John again for your support at the show.
