Thanks. For a machinist, that looks very doable. For me, not so much. I'd think they've been made in the secondary market.

An original Direct Starter will not work without changing the drive. Original installation is straight tooth gear, pony conversion is helical gear.

Usually takes me 20 minutes to log back in here, I'm not the brightest. It's not the easiest.
I'm assuming if I can find the offset and one of the starters you have mentioned, I'll need no other parts?
Tried pull starting it yesterday, as it's super warm here in NY, the tires didn't want to rotate. Have to bring something more stout.

Only if you find one of those starters that was used in a pony conversion will you need no other parts.

So, that means I need one of the starters you specified, and the offset, and(to be determined) to complete the parts needed to start to tackle it. Almost seems like maybe the pony motor is back in play.
