I would get the later book since your machine is a 1956, your cable control should be a higher serial #.

Good evening my ACMOC family, first of all I can't thank you all enough for the help so far, I'm at the point now where Im starting to work on getting the Sheetmetal back to perfect.
I'm looking for rear sprocket guard's and also, I think the front Idlers came with guard's also, or am I mistaken. Can anybody show me pics of a cat with them on, my serial # is 9U15570
Maybe someone knows the correct ones for my Cat. I talked to Dennis at Florin and he sent me the following scans below. He said there is 2 different kinds, I just want to be 100% correct.Hi Mike, Great picture! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. There are two different ‘guards’ on these sprockets – I’ve attached scanned pages out of the parts book so I can find out which you’re looking for. There are the ones that are on either side of one sprocket (3F1958) or the bigger metal ones that cover the sprocket (9F5541/42). Let me know which you’re looking for. Thanks, Dennis

Yes, I do, I have them both. I took them off to access easier as I worked on the oil pump issue and for cleaning.
