Chuck or Jeff, who makes a push-pull ram like that? I'm looking on the interwebs but not finding one of those rams, with the hole in the middle? (Edit- ok, didn't look hard enough OTC for $1k or Chinese for $140..)

Thanks Chuck. I can see that one would need a collar that the body of the ram pushes against the hub with, and some all-thread that the ram pulls, but for removing the hub, did you have some kind of collar that sits on the back of the ram for the body to push against?

One other question for the literati - I have an even # of sintered bronze disks (the "line" disks) and plain steel ones. But, I'm wondering if I should use one less plain steel so that the pressure plate is pressing against the sintered bronze instead of the plain steel. I'd be afraid of the plain steel and pressure plate galling up between them if they were worked a lot. Thoughts?
