Hey Glen,

I have a question. I fully understand the twin D8 needs only one driver/operator but does or will the other D8 at least have a seat? I am curious becasue if it is at Santa Margarita, this year or next, will there be a seat for another person to ride along?

Hey Walt,

It's a Siamese Twin D8... Lots of room up there. I'll talk to the build Team and see what I can do for you.

Thanks Glen,

I was thinking there "should be" another seat but one never know unless they ask...

Hey Team,

Phil has been making good progress on the build. He has both cases back together again. He has both transmissions done. He is starting to work on fabricating some pieces to get the center frictions to work the way we want. Duane talked to me this last week end. He wants to step it up a notch or two. Things will be getting momentum going nicely. I won't give a date, but will say Good Things are coming... Sooner than planned....I talked with Ed Akin today. I asked that he start getting the CCU's ready. This is gonna be one cool tractor... Or should I say Too Two Cool of a Tractor... Hahaha

Glen,

Will you be welding two blades together or build a new one from scratch? If you are looking for CCU's the blade can't be that far behind. Whoops, actually you'll want it to be in front (:-). Also, I will want to sit up there with Walt so please make it large enough for the three of us!!!!!

When you first mentioned this to me as a possible project, I have to admit, I thought you were talking "BS." Looking forward to the finished product!

Looks like if we can get a spark of a idea on a Cat we would like to see that used to be but has disappeared, planted that idea in Glens brain and next thing you know there is a "new Cat toy". And he is very generous and shares it with all of us. As Walt and Jan would be first to say he even lets others play with it. So thank you Glen for letting us share the fun.

Hey Gang,

Thank you, but it's a Team Effort. Ed Akin had a dream and started. I asked if I could join him in his Mission. He questioned if it could actually get done. I assured him that was my drive in life, "Glen Gets it Done". Ed giggled and said if we were to really get some horse power behind us, we needed Peterson Tractor, the original builders of the tractor. I agreed and we approached Duane with the Idea. Duane is a Great Guy. He is a true Business Person with a Vision. We all shook hands. So thank you, but it's a Team Effort.
Glen
