Hi Mike,
my 8F142 actually has 5F1900 cast into the side of it. I'm assuming that's just the difference between the part # and the casting #. My tractor is 5U13753 and the parts book lists 8F142 and the casting that came off my tractor, which looks original, is 5F1900 so I'm thinking it's the right part. Perhaps OM or josh might be able to confirm?
If it is, I'm in for one.

5F1900, crosses to 8F142. Basically a new part number for the same, or updated part.
