Thanks for the detailed response! I like the low-hanging fruit approach.
My machine is lever steer; sounds like yours is pedal steer, right?
I'll be putting up some YouTube videos. I'm actually editing the footage from getting it running and operating and then transporting it. Hope to have that done in the next several days.
Thanks again!
Scott

A little more detail as to what won't steer to the left means.
Brakes don't work or steering clutch won't release?

Good question. When I pull back on the left steering lever, nothing seems to happen. Then when I step on the left brake pedal, it very slowly moves to the left.

Try putting the bucket teeth in the ground and pull back on both clutch levers ,put the tractor in gear at an idle and see if the motor loads up.
Slowly release each lever one at a time to see if the motor loads up.
This will tell if clutches are releasing.

Sorry Scott, I missed that detail. Yes, mine is pedal steer. I think everything that I mentioned still applies, but not 100% sure. Either way, I'll follow this closely and chime in if I can help. Looking forward to seeing the videos!

If you haven't done so already, check all the linkages to make sure something hasn't been disconnected.

I'll give that a try.

Scott,
Looks like a great find at an even better price, well done. I watched your YouTube video, something that caught my eye which will require your attention and further investigation; the right side dead axle outer bearing mount (that's what I'm calling it) doesn't appear to have any bolts holding it to the track frame? Also the end cap/ cover appears to be missing?
Thanks for the video, I look forward to updates on the project.

Hi, Bulletpruf.
I noticed the same thing that D8Dude mentioned above but I'd put it a different way. I am onna pretty bad internet connection at the moment but it appeared to me that the right hand sprocket retainer nut, the outer cover and its bolts were all missing. I think you need to investigate the 'whys' and the 'wherefores' of that before you go getting excited about much else. That is not the sort of stuff that you remove just 'coz you're 'kew-ree-yuss' about what makes it tick.
Other than that, it does look to be a win and thanks for the video.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
