Do you by chance know if a 17a grill will fit the 3t? It looks the same in the parts catalog and on a machine but the part numbers are different. Is there a cross reference fitment guide possibly?

Hi, V14.
I SUSPECT that it would fit but I don't KNOW that it would. I would guess though that somebody with more knowledge than me will come along soon to tell you.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

My guess is the 17 a is just a bit wider than a 3t, could be a bit taller as well. Could be made to fit if that was the case.

My 17A is 32" wide for grill spacing, 22" bolt hole center to center high and 29 3/4" bolt hole center to center wide.

General gear told me the top section is 32" x 16 1/4". If I used 2 top sections I'd have about 5 inches left to fill at the bottom so I'd assume that makes the bottom plate about 32x37 or 38. Is that about the same dimensions for your bottom plate as well?

Width wise it looks to be fine, even think the mounting locations are the same, would have to measure later. Might just be the perspective on the photos but the bottom grill plate looks to be taller on the second photo. I'll probably just hold out until I can find the 3t grill rather than risking having to modify the grill from a 17a.
