Western Washington nearest bigger city would be centralia but that's a bit of a drive northwest. Certainly not afraid to ask the stupid questions haha that's why I at least bought the membership so I can contribute something since I don't have the technical/mechanical knowledge to answer others.

Great video, showed a lot of the scenarios CTS mentioned. Makes me jealous I got one that didn't come with an angle blade though. Luckily I just had the brake issue causing my operating error but learning to control the blade while in use will be my next task.

Got a little more time behind it today, I took this picture from the same spot helps to see the elevation change. Obviously not a good view of the machine but she made it up fine. Got a good handle on driving it and pushed a stump out even. Appreciate all you guys helping me out and getting me to the point of pushing my first stump.

Hi, V14.
Just from looking at the two photos that you have posted of your work area, I'd guess that you have a little work ahead of you before you are ready to plant your first 50 acres of potatoes. But I do think that there is plenty for you to practice on.
Try General Gear in Boise, Idaho for a front grille for you D7.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

I wish I had 50 acres, maybe when I hit the lottery I can buy some acres Weyerhaeuser owns behind me. That's maybe an acre of area but it's very rough, I'll have fun learning and once I get good I can make my way down the mountain towards the creek but that's way off in the future.
I contacted general gear, they only have the upper plate. Made a wanted post here but ill probably grab the upper from them and hope someone has the lower sooner than later.

Much appreciated, I'll give them calls tomorrow and see if they have the full assembly or at least the bottom plate. General gear did have two uppers I could buy and make something for the bottom 6 inches or so to finish covering it off but I'd prefer the proper parts.
