One person that I talked with said that in his opinion the topics discussed were not totally resolved. He said a lot of jumping around between topics, that is why I said it was little chaotic. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. My opinion is that whoever "wins", the club loses. Just my opinion.

Yes, there WAS a bit of jumping around amongst topics - not entirely unexpected when you get a group of people with differing views and priorities talking on a call like that. At its peak, I think there were 75 people on the American call - bound to be a few differing thoughts and ideas among that many people.

I think Kurt did a very good job of moderating the two calls that I was on and I think the BoD members who were on those calls left the calls with plenty to think about - which I understand they will be able to refer back to as the calls were recorded.

I also don't think that the calls were intended to resolve anything but were more about informing members of what was and is going on within the club.

in future zoom calls could become a regular thing and a way of getting the view of the membership on a particular issue. the challenge is getting the word out to the members that its happening.
