Train kid - That’s fair enough.  I guess that every hydraulic actuation is going to have at least two points to grease. And yes I can totally agree, nothing beats getting up close to all of your pivot points regularly to keep an eye on how they are wearing!

212 grader, 301.5CR excavator, 226B3 skid steer (and fingers crossed a D6 8U coming my way soon!)

Langdon if you could find a #12 with power steering being parted out that would give you the needed pump, mounts and reservoir.

Kracked1 - yes that would be ideal! I did find a business in my state a while back that specialised in old graders. I will see if I can find him again and make inquiries.

Hi, LangdonStevenson.
Further to what kracked1 posted, I think it was exactly the same unit that was fitted to all models of Cat graders from the 212 on up. From my observations, there were a LOTTTT more 12s sold than either 212s or 112s. Harvey Joyner out near Penrith might be worth a shot or Expressway Spares up at Wauchope.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Deas - yes many, many more 12 from the numbers I have seen. Thank you for the names - I’ll check them both out.

A quick update - assuming all goes to plan my 212 grader will be picked up tomorrow and delivered the day after! Very exciting.
