Based on what I can make out from the pics the engine looks like a D4400. It could be a 5T series D4 if that is the original engine
Like that blade setup!

Current: D47U turbocharged w/Holt angle blade
Past: 22 Wide Gauge w/Cable Blade, D25U, D45T w/Bucyrus Erie straight blade, D45T Orchard, D45T w/Cat straight blade.

Right you are...I can now see that the intake manifold is on the LH side of the engine.

Looks like it brought $2600. They said it had a steering problem on one side.

Doesn't look like the blade has seen a ton of wear either. 33xx hour count might be accurate.
