Dad has both the suction gun and grease gun out of the tool kit his father got when he bought 5U18915 new from the dealer. Other tools I remember that he has/had is the gap gauge, some wrenches. I don't recall the oil can or the volume compressor

Cheers,
Neil

Hello fellow Caterpillar enthusiasts,
I was looking at Squatches video and I noticed a lot of the tools seem to be very much the same. As thus that came with the Soviet Caterpillar clones or knock offs(how ever you like to preferer it). I'm referring to the models S-80,T-100M and also the less known KD-35(lot of D2 technical components in it).

Two of the Drain Plug Wrench 6F3703 came with 12A04040 955C Traxcavator (parts rig) and a pinch bar also came with a 955.. I've got at least 30 grease guns I'm sure one is a Lincoln. LOL

The S 702 in Skinner's post is the earlier water pump packing nut wrench as supplied to the 9G D7, by the time the 7m series D7 came out it had "morphed" into the 4A334.
I have four of these in my collection, one original US one, two 4A334E (English made versions I believe) and one with no numbers or letters on it which looks like a simple copy.

The L2303 wrench came in at least two styles, the "Tee" bar version in the picture was made by VLCHEK and the one with the looped end by Fairmount.

Here is the tool set for the soviet tractor KD-35 the later model KDP-35 had a very analog tool set. Since KD-35(produced in the Lipetzk factory) is related to Caterpillar D2. We can see from the parts catalog that some of the tools look very similar to the late 5U series D2.

Here the list for the tools on the diagram:

This is the tool set for the T-100M (the chelyabinsk factory). In theory the S-80 tool set should be the same. But I don't have a parts catalog for comparison.
