Hi RGB
Welcome to the forum, I also ask what part of country are you in as there are a few Chapters around the country, someone maybe able to help.
The part number you are looking for is 1988854 and Baxters in Melbourne have 21 in stock, as I just got one from them, around $220.
They have moved from Rowville to Dandy South.
Regards
Daryl

Hi Daryl,
Thanks for your help. The extra 8 in the number has helped a lot. Baxters are shipping one up to Mackay for me.
Thanks
Russell

Where are you getting that part number for the drive end housing?
I've been using 1988748 for my conversions. That's for units that use the "O-ring" seal, different for flat gasket versions.
Can be had in either 6-hole or 12-hole indexing.

Hi OM,
The part number was from northwesthillbilly, but he left out an 8, so when I went to Baxters to see if they had any, the sales man brought one out and showed me it also has a few extra holes for more adjustment (as you can see in the photos) it also has the o ring on the back.
I hope this helps.
Regards
Daryl

Is it possible 1988748 is the 6 hole and 1988854 is the 12 hole version? The latter (with the missing
is mentioned by a few people making the conversion in the USA.
Do you know if anyone in Australia sells the bendix? Amazon wouldn't ship it to me. I've tried ordering it from Canada (GSHGBO), but they haven't sent any confirmation or taken my money.
Thanks
Russell
