I was common to find a 18 inch piece of pipe standing up on the deck of farm Cats in California. Some very half axx, some real neat bolted on some welded forever. Was not that uncommon to see the J of the pole bolted direct and for the off season the center bolt of umbrella was remove to let the arms and canvas be store away for next summer.
But a long time since I have seen a working tractor with umbrella.

Too many low hanging branches on walnut trees Ray, for a nice umbrella to last long around your local farms sadly, you boys are 100% focused on trying not to roll your Cats on those steep hills to think about how high the umbrella is sitting.. LOL

Hi everyone, Just so you are all aware the club is in the process of having umbrellas made with the 1950's vintage Caterpillar logo. We are on track to have them available for the show in Iowa. So if you are able to wait and would prefer to have a logo that matches the era of your tractors i would suggest waiting until the clubs releases ours. And depending on the success of the 1950's logo we are going to look at doing different variations of the logos as well.
Thank you

Our first run will have the Caterpillar logos on them. We have not explored only selling the canvas at this point. Curious why you would not want to have the nice beautiful Caterpillar logo on the canvas? It is the generic size so yes it should fit in a snowco frame.
Thank you
Nathan

I might be interested in just the canvas with the 1950s logo if that meant more affordable postage to Australia (rather paying for a big box with the frame etc). That is assuming I can get something locally like Daryl has.

Hi Nathan, I think it would be nice to offer the canvas only if someone already has the hardware. (Like me) Also, the canvas can tear if you hit some trees or other things. The hardware is almost always going to outlast the canvas. Angelo
