Hi, Skinner.
Spot on - the first experimental D9 from 1946 - thankfully, they never went into production like that.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Great pictures of how I think a dealership should look like.

Deas   it just did not have the right background to look like a big machine. I was thinking D6 by the blade and just not expressing great mass. But then it was for sure a 6 cylinder, with the left side pony. But a very nice piece of history, thanks.

Hello Deas, I guess the designer of that D9 prototype was so upset when his ideas were dejected that he quit Caterpillar and went to work for Euclid...lol!

-what make and model of car is that parked in front of Marysville..sweet
they don't make them like that anymore

It looks to be a mid-30's V-8 Ford, I can't tell the exact model. I agree absolutely fantastic photos!

The old car in front of the Marysville dealership looks a lot like a '37 or '38 Ford Club Coupe.  Reminds me of my old ''41 Lincoln V-12.
Keep the pictures a-commin!!
