The store front looks the same to this day, if it is the one on HWY 113 and Sacramento Valley Blvd. It became Valley Truck and Tractor Co. and now owned by Pape.

Now I have a question on the scraper, is that a Letourneau ? Is not at all like the late DW 10 scrapers I have seen.

How correctly I don't know, but was told the early DW10 was D4600 (the same as 4 and 5 R D6) engine and the early scrapers where hydraulic but not the best because it was a very early try with the hydraulics. So Cat returned to a cable controls on latter ones, and by then the D318 engine.
