Great brochure Garlic Mom. Maybe one of the guru's can move it to the technical forum to remain for all to enjoy and learn from. Thanks for posting.

Wow Garlic Mom! That is a great brochure thank you so much for sharing. I am going to print off a copy and laminate it to put with all the other D2 literature I have. See you in a few weeks in sunny Santa Margarita!!

During the 2010 Saturday night dinner the ocean fog rolled in across the hills to the west. The temps may range from 50-100 degrees.

Okay guys I am in need of some assistance - my clutch is frozen and I am trying to get it moving slowly having some success - but the part I am confused about is this:
When I look into the clutch compartment and inspect the clutch the cam mechanism is in the disengaged position - yet when we were pulling the tractor when I got it home if I tried to put in in gear the engine started turning over - leading me to think that the clutch is actually engaged, yet the cam forks are in the disengaged orientation - what is going on?? am I missing something?
Thanks

Could be your driving and driven plates stuck together, or the pilot bearing is seized

Well after attending the National Show, I really had the itch to get my tractor going. when I got home it was out to the garage and wrenching. Although I am still working on the clutch, I was able to get the pony motor started!! Cleaned up the tank it had about an inch of rust in the bottom, cleaned the carb up and the lines. Put it all back together, filled the tank with premium gas, hooked up the battery. opened the fuel valve, and hit the starter button. Fluttered and coughed a bit at first and fired a couple times. Closed of the choke, and hit the button again. Holy shit it fired up and ran like a top, never even had to monkey with the mag. I cant believe how nice it sounds.
Next on the list keep working the clutch, and getting the pinion engaging lever unstuck so I can get the Diesel running. Also the equalizer spring that I bought from Garlic Pete at the show, will be arriving on Monday with mog5858 (thanks to both of you). So that will be on the list to replace also so that the nose sits up where is should.
More progress to come ill keep you posted! Hope to have in running an operational for Sept at Chapter 27's first event.

Well another update - after getting the pony running I diligently worked to get the starting pinion levers working so I could get the big engine going.
When I started spinning the big engine over there was a huge oil mess coming out around the drive shaft for the hydraulic pump.
Now I am pretty certain its engine oil, but I am not sure if engine oil is in that shaft or not? Is there a seal after the main crank seal on the drive shaft for engine oil?
My reason for thinking its engine oil is the oil is a little milky after spinning over, and the oil leaking is also milky.
I looked in the parts breakdown but cant tell if engine oil can get down that shaft or not.
Any suggestions??
Thanks

Ironman, is it coming from behind the front engine pulley or out of the rear of the hydraulic pump? Both of those can be milky of course if they're water-contaminated. Here's a picture of the backside of your #44 hydraulic control. The bearing was flogged out on mine and so the seal couldn't keep up and it leaked (although I haven't run mine yet so I don't know how badly it leaked - it's all new bearings and seals now so should be good).
Cheers,
Neil

I agree with Neil that it is probably the pump seal.
There was a Thread in the past month or two inquiring about a front engine seal, just can't remember what tractor it was on?
