My parents left today and are driving out to the show. My wife, kids, and I are flying out Friday morning at 5:00 AM hope to be at the ranch by 12:00 pm west coast time. Good by OHIO hello CALI.... I am so excited I can hardly wait. Steve I will have the same look on my face as well. It will be a big kid convention!!!!

Well look out they let me in. Me and maw mog will be in noon on Wednesday. I think the south is slipping we whent right though the inspection. Tom or deas will be available to help Wednesday afternoon.

It's been another busy two days since the last update. Grounds are really looking good, everyone is doing something, big or small as a combined contribution to making the show the Best Of The West. For all the people helping to set the show up, the show has already begun. So much more equipment is coming in there's no point in putting up a couple of pics. The roads are graded watered and rolled, fields marked out. The DD9G has been connected up today and put out on the edge of the earthmoving field waiting to serve it up big-time to any scrapers that get in its' way. We do have a 660 here so perhaps that will keep the DD9G busy. The Siamese D8 gets it's blade fitted today/tomorrow. There's a lot of really nice trucks here too.

Glen and I went up to the Estrella Warbirds Air Museum at Paso Robles yesterday (Sunday) and brought two military tanks down to Santa Margarita on his Peterbilt and Murray 2x8 lowboy. (That was quite and adventure in itself, just quietly.)

Lots of mobile homes have moved in and set up camp on the mobile home field, the whole place is a hive of activity. Among others, Tom Stanessa from Peoria rolled in this morning in his mobile home after driving over from Peoria and to my surprise, Tom recognized me from the shows in the Eastern States two years ago. The pedestrian bridge gets placed tomorrow. For anyone tossing up whether or not to make the trip, this is the one not to miss. And for our colleagues over on the East Coast USA, Australia or (especially) New Zealand, the weather is warm and sunny everyday. Our New Zealand friends will be freezing over there by now so come on over and thaw out. I'm told the long range forecast for show weekend is for good weather, does it ever rain here?

I look at the loads you boy get on those 2 axle trailers and dream we need 3 axles or more to Carry the loads you boys tow!

The Saturday night dinner is sold out. If you bought tickets through 'ACMOC they will have your tickets at their tent. If you bought tickets through Paso Robles pioneer day your tickets will be at will call.

If you mailed an entry and I did not receive it through yesterday, you will not be receiving dinner tickets. Repeat we are sold out. We are actually over sold out.

Better get the cans of beans and put on the exhaust manifolds to heat, going to be a "skinners" meal, don't forget the spoon and p-38. LOL

Perhaps I should have been more specific d23j. We did two trips, one tank each round. Sorry for the confusion.
