GrantJ I still have the same Nevada number but this tractor is not mine. I tried to get it but I hope to restore it for the owner. The restoration sort of depends on what this thing actually turns out to be. I would love to do a full restoration.

Tell that guy to come down on the RD-6 price some, scrap price for heavy melt/foundry steel is only $0.05/lb here! sucks! 15 ton or 30,000 lb machine would be worth $1500

That's a good looking unit, be a shame to have it go to scrap. Blade and lift mechanism is BeGe manufacture.
Don't see many of those.

I am after the D4 stuff. Lots of good parts. The tractors themselves are pretty much junk. I’m saving what I can of them. Lots of direct electric stuff and a few good pony’s. Hydraulic pumps etc. Hope to make the deal this week 👍

The Trackscavator (spelling?) is in Cobb Ca. 1.5 hours north of Santa Rosa. I got to the ranch yesterday and the serial number is 7J7035WSP. I have seen enough SP serials but I dont recall seeing one with the "W" in it. I need to learn how to text photos since I am having no luck with my computer. Don, I will try to remember to call you tonight. Grant.

Don't know if this applies to the later models but the W in my cousin's Twenty-Two 1J3796W refers to it being wide gauge.

Cheers,
