I think the links may still be available at your Cat dealer, Hastings' otherwise try Tilly's at Toowoomba or Expressway Spares at Wauchope for all the parts, another sauce is Roy Moore at Toowoomba.

Hi Team,
a change was made on dry clutch D8's only, to make the drive links PUSH instead of PULL the clutch around. This was done due to the poor service life of the links when pulling with the big torque D8 engine.
Another important factor governing drive link life in these dry clutch machines in Engine Alignment.
Scans below are for a D6, BUT, the process is exactly the same for D6, D7, D8 with dry clutch, or indeed any tractor with drive links and chassis rails where the alignment can be affected by any of the things as outlined in the next paragraph.
Bent chassis rails, flogged out front engine mount bushes, missing alignment shims, missing-loose engine mount bolts, broken engine mounts, and so on affect life of the links in both push and pull applications.
Hope these help.
Cheers,
Eddie B.
