They were advertised as parts only. I don't know if it is against the rules to get them running or not. I intended to purchase one. I wanted some undercarriage parts for an 18-a Girl that I am putting new high heels on. Phil and I kept walking around scratching our heads on which ONE to buy. Idlers new on this one, but rollers better on this one, but swing frames look better on this one... So when I had winning bid at $1500, the Auctioneer ask how many did I want and which one? I thought, ha... at $1500 each... 3 Please!!! Now I don't have to listen to a Phil complain that I got the wrong Cat, because I got them All...hahaha... So now my problem is staying up at night Dreaming of a Triple Wide 9 with a 40' Blade. Thanks Guys.. Dreaming...dreaming...dreaming...to be continued...

good job i done that a few time too but never with 3 D9. you can get some dirty looks when you say you take all them times your money. other bider be like i didn't think you would take them all lol

Yes your right. I've been to many auctions were multiple units sold as a group to pick from. If there is only a few items, it's risky to play the wait for the price to fall on the next one as if the lead bid takes them all, your out... there was only two bids once open. They started at $1000 from internet pre bid, one person took it to $1250... I waited until the going once, going twice, then hit on $1500.

It looks like you got a lot of good parts for the money. I look forward to hearing about whatever project you might use them for. It would be interesting to just go over the dozers and take inventory of the condition of the parts.
