Wally, Jason, and Dan,
I want to thank you guys again for all the help. I got a little work to do on Dan, His driveway would love to have my 212 grader sitting beside it!
It would fit right in with all his other stuff.
Thanks again,
Dave

Neil--I'll see if i can--remember this is from a scribed trace off an original---i told the machine shop to use the inner side of the trace--sometime if I can borrow an original i could take measurements and see how accurate it is---I am hoping its will be within 1/16 inch?

hi guys,
Went out to take some pictures of the grader and my camera said "battery exhausted"......I know the feeling! I have to take the lovely out to dinner, I will try and post some pictures tonite or tomorrow. Anyway its a 212 9T I think 1953 maybe. No doors on the cab starts easy runs well the emergency brakes work, the juice brakes need some lovin. I think someone welded one of the back axles to the hub, I will take a picture of that. The good things are at one point the guy that had it before me pulled the engine out and sent it to caterpillar and had it rebuilt. So the son of the previous owner told me, any time I have taken a cover off the engine it is freshly painted with Glyptol paint on the inside. When I got it 2 of the the rims were all rusted out and falling apart. I got them off after a lengthy battle and found a junkyard in Ohio that had some. Had them shipped here, sandblasted and primed and painted cat yellow bought new tubes and put them back on, couldn't save any wheel studs so drilled all them out tapped the holes and put stainless studs and hardware on from Mcmaster Carr with never seize. It has the scarifier and power steering.I just snapped some pics with my phone, when I get home I will try and post them. they welded the nut to the axle.
