Old Caterpillar machine- scrapping place in Europe was created by ludeka3

Hello, my friend is looking for the place in Europe, preferrably in Germany to scrap his old Caterpillar machine. He doesn't speak English so I would like to help him. Do you know such place? Thank you for your replies. My friend has the following model D8N. I don't know whether the machine is in so bad condition but he would prefer to scrap than sell therefore please write me some places in Europe (Netherlands is ok ok for him) where he can do it. I look forward to hearing any proposals.

Sounds like a contractor here,sold a old machine and the new owner under bid him on a job and used to the machine for most of the work. That contractor never sold another machine,at his death had 100's of machines his family sold.

I don't understand why you decided to accuse me of any scam or wrongdoing. I wrote here because I thought you can help my friend. I'm not a contractor - why do you think so? Bruze oz and Ray54 - justify why you treated me like this? What about this scrapping place in Netherlands you wrote me to let you know, I sent the private message and no reply....... I expect some factual, sense replies. Regards. Peter

Hey Team,

I didn't see anything wrong with what Ray54 stated. He just told a story of a contractor that learned not to sell tractors to competitors.

Sorry for any misunderstanding,was not making faulting anyone. Just stating a reason why someone would want a machine to be sold as parts rather than as a usable machine.

Selling parts is much better in my opinion than just sending it off to the big melting pot in China.
