Hi Team,
here is an example of the Factory D4 cab on an Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions D4 I used to work on at The Dealer. I helped restore this unit.
This pic taken at the recent Tasmanian National rally.

In the post 1 picture, the gap between the fuel tank and under the rear window frame of the cab will be due to the Hyster winch spacers not being fitted under the tank mountings, as seen in the ANARE D4 pic. These machines were setup so they could have their rear attachments changed about during their service down South.

Hi don,
Aviation Orange was the chosen safety, easy to see colour for Australia's Antarctic working machinery, from the 1950's at least.
