Seen this on Duluth Craigs List, Heavy Equipment today. I could not make the link work so here's a few pictures. Asking $3,500.00 but has been there a couple weeks so never know. Take a look at the fuel tank. Very unusual shape.

You would think that at the very least they could've removed the cover hiding the engine before taking the pictures, it might just be me but seeing things like that doesn't give me a ton of confidence in what they're trying to sell somebody.

Thats for sure. It just caught my eye because of the crazy shaped fuel tank and different cab. I was thinking a lot of time was spent modifing it or maybe it was factory modified for the port, railroads, or some other special purpose. I readly can't think of a reason why it would be modified that way. Hoping someone will have the answer.

What's unusual about it. Looks like a 6u/7u D4 tank to me. Then again, I may need some prescription glasses instead of the over the counter ones I'm using. LOL.

I agree, looks like the regular seat tank to me too. Although there is some sort of interesting push block mounted beneath it (or counter weight maybe?)

I enlarged it about 4 times and man, I must need better cheaters. It appeared to me that the line from that cab seal or whatever is hanging across the tank toward the left side was the tank top. For the life of me I coundn't figure out why it would be modified like that. OK, Have your fun. Post your blind old man jokes. I got it coming.

No jokes from me, Roger. I'm in the same boat. I lightened the photo then enlarged it. It looks like a cord draped over the tank and blocks of wood under the tank. Here they are, I hope.

I can see the tank filler much better in your lightened picture. Looks normal now.

I'm digging the cab. That would look really good straightened and with the glass back in. I would be willing to buy just the cab. But that's a little too far for me to go.
