Dan, The bottom flange is welded on as well as the top flange. I don't have a press break big enough to bend 11 gauge material. It's just about as easy to weld it on and straighten out anything that warps with heat. With a wire feed welder there isn't much warp-age Takes almost a half sheet of 11 gauge to make a set of these.
Ag-Mike These panels are 13 inches high and 41 inches long. The flanges on the bottom are 5 inches wide except where they are cut out for the oil filter on the right side and the bottom radiator pipe on the left side. The top flange is 1/2 wide. How do these measurements compare to the original you have?
Steve A, I am retired but still spend a lot of time in my shop. Would consider making a set of these like these if anyone is interested now that I have a pattern. These are primed then painted so there is quite a bit of hand work that goes in them. I think I could make them for $300 plus shipping

they should measure up fine, i actually had to finish removing it from the tractor when the track came off and muffed it up. it wasfrom a 1950 d2. i'll try to take pics of it today.
