Sasquatch
I was trying to decide between
A. Making a offer to get it for you as I am close and have been known to make trips to the West side of Northern Michigan
or
B. Bidding on it myself
Do me a favor and bid high to remove the temptation. If you get it I have to go to Marquette in April.
Old Iron Habit, I am quite sure you might find a High 10 along that route.

I'll email the Seller right now to find out about the block!
So I was over there asking what I felt are key questions, when I suddenly realized I USED to have 2 5U blocks sitting here that no one wanted!
OH Well!
Could of helped you out, Buddy!

Steve, I'm glad you stepped up to the plate and took the pressure off of me. You need that Cat, what with it already practically being in your backyard and all. I vote for your Option "B".
Good luck!

I am headed up that way soon. Up on Lake of the Woods fishing the last few days. Nothing like eating fresh cold water walleyes in the ice house well the wind is blowing 40+ MPH outside. We will dig out today as the wind died down. Oh, did I say, retirement is good.

So I went and took a look at the above mentioned D2, a nice machine. The head was removed to remove rod/piston, there is a rod and piston in the parts box that looks good, I did not see major damage inside the engine however the head was sitting in place. The injectors and precomps were removed and I did not see them nor the push rods. The UC is nice but the bushings are ready for a turn. I would like to buy it but suspect it will sell for more than I can pay.
