Now that you show that battery box on the AC M I am thinking I have seen that style of box on other equipment. Is it possible that someone else made a similar box?Or if I have seen it on other stuff they just used a old Cat box they appropriated?Well what ever hope you find one.

If it's not available from Cat, I think that you can request the part drawing thru your local Cat dealer so that you can have it built.

Maybe others can add some info here as I'm going from what I've read or heard somewhere.

I have a d25u169.? That has the box you need.
Its, a really nice tractor, but engine is stuck clutches are stuck the only thing that isnt stuck is the pony motor.
Everything else is really nice.
All the sheet metal is dent free, the uc is good.
My problem is, l dont know what to do,restore it,keep it for parts (I have another late model d2 ser 17959) or sale the parts off.
In reality,it will prob set in the yard until the pony motor seizes.
Anyway ,what would a battery box complete with holddown be worth,
I have another one but it has no lid.

What about using a lid of an old Grader they have a one almost the same you may have to cut and shut it but it will have the nice curves about it?
