OM I think probably 99% of the older tractors with the starting engine & diesel having the common oil system were changed over to the separate system years ago or were here in my area.That sure was a mistake on Cats thinking to have all that dirty diesel oil in the starting engine pan. Cat supplied a kit to do the changeover & I over the time changed lots of them over & the other engines that used (had) that system.There was very little involved to change it over but I,m sure the kit isn,t available anymore but it,s very easy with some available plugs & a gasket.
