Lee,
I started with 1/50 scale as that is the most popular and I also collect 1/24,1/25 scale so I would prefer these scales.
A few more scrapers 1/25 from First Gear along with a D8H,D6C would be nice and in 1/50 again the D8H, DW21 scraper,992 wheel loader-yeah I would have similiar views to Chugwater Crawlers.
The problem with CCM stuff is the price and small runs bearing in mind the club needs to sell at a certain level to generate profit etc.
I would agree with you about Reuhl-to reproduce them would hurt a lot of collectors who had paid big bucks for them.

CCM is a bit too expensive, have you seen the First Gear IH TD25 in 1/25 scale? a very good model for average price around £90.
I know of a good model maker that will build 1 offs to an order.1/50 seems a popular scale for most collectors. We need more Cat models on the market with a good discount for ACMOC members.
