Thanks Paul, yes the weather has been nice, we could stand a good week or two of rain though. To the east of me the wildfires are really bad up north as well. The day before those pictures were taken it was so smokey your eyes would sting and couldn't see the buttes in the background. When I'm done I'll post my fuel economy.

I shared a breakfast table at a motel at the national last year in Utah with a elderly fellow and his wife. He was from north Idaho and mentioned he used to frequent the bulletin board, but had not much anymore as he is getting older. He mentioned that he farmed with Cats. Now I wonder if its the same fellow.

Bruce, the photo of the 7M brings back a time past here in the Northern Sacramento Valley. I always enjoy seeing your photos of the 7M as you have resurrected it over the past few years. There are just a few local growers who still use steel on their operations here in the Northern Sacramento Valley. I am fortunate that Fordhook farms locally and I always take the opportunity to drive by his family operation in Tehama and near Chico to catch a glimpse of the Cats making dust.
I along with my son EAS still look for any reason at all to use our old Cats when the need arises in our farming operation.

Thanks IronAppraiser, I appreciate it, I always think it looks pretty scuzzy in pictures, but it really is a pretty good cat. Since I've went to no till there's not a lot for the cats to do. I do try to make up some reason to run them however. Once I get hydraulics on the 7M I can use it a bit more.
