I spent today taking care of some of the final details on the high wide 15. Just before I came to the house I got the tracks on and set her down on her own.
We took these pictures today thoght you would like to see.

I'm so envious of a tight dry and heated shop like the one you are obviously enjoying.
My wrench efforts are still on hold till I decide and build a replacement for the shop I lost.

2HIGHTEN,
Your Fifteen is looking great, I've never seen a picture of a wide \ high model before. Has long has the restoration taken and what was the condition of the tractor when you started?
I'm restoring my tractor in a field with just a tarpaulin for cover, so your nice warm workshop looks very appealing!

What a rare beauty. I hope to have a find that nice some day.

Guys,
To answer some of the thoughts the shop is just an old 2 car garage that I have very seriously insulated and repoured the floor. Did build a workbench one afternoon.
As to restore time on the tractor. I spent almost 12 months just gathering parts and sheet metal. Then I got down to redoing the engine. I started up the engine a little more than a year ago. Did not do much work on this during the Spring or Summer but got back at it in the fall. I have worked pretty steady at it for most of the winter.
Now all I need is to get the snow away from the building so when I drive it out it won't get messy.
Here are a coupld of pictures from when I brought it home a couple of years ago.
Third picture is from when I started the engine last year.

2Highten,
The before and after pictures are truly amazing, I never expected to see such a transformation, with the bare bones of a tractor you started off with!

looks good and i can see how much fun it would be working on a HIGH cat compared to a normal one. (everyhing is out of balance and higher, more wooden blocks, LOL) keep those pictures coming so allan letts will get the bug and rebuild his shop. a good man can't be keep down with pictures like this.
allan when you rebuild the shop make all the changes to make it easy to work on cats. i know if i ever get a new shop there would be changes to make my life easier on working on the cats
thansk

Jason, and anyone else looking for sheetmetal , Steve weaver made mine and also Geo Rankin does an equal job. As for what to do for a shop make just big enough for comfort and plenty of windows for natral light and recommend spray foam insulation and radiant heat in the floor not to high to save on the heat bill also. Temp here tonight is minus something big . This project is almost done , I wonder what will be next?
