This tractor has no special number, it is 7c256. It was assembled at the factory this way. It was shipped to the dealer in Atlantic city N.J. who then took it to a large vegtable farm for testing. It was used for a time but the bolts holding the spacer to the main case failed and then it was parked in the shed where it was left for forty years till I located it.

Steve Weaver does good work if you can ever get the metal out of him. I waited a full year and gave up. I have since bought all my steel from George Rankin because has most items in stock, reasonably priced, and is a great ole guy to talk with full of Caterpillar knowledge. Greg

We started the engine again after sitting idle for more than a year, started on the third compression, or turn of the crank. not bad. I will take it out for a drive sat afternoon and shoot some pictures of this rare tractor.

Hi Ron, Looking good. Nice to see the Fifteen on tracks. How are things up in snow country? My Ten is coming along ok but has slowed a bit with the cold weather. Looks like the cold gave you some extra time to work on yours, looks great! Rick <a href="This email address is being protected from spambots.
