CR: Good of you to "volunteer". I feel kind of bad not participating in any of the holiday festivities around here, but I am still burnt out from hustling all over the state from previous shows. Enjoy yourselves nevertheless.
If our man from the north end of our membership sees this, perhaps he can share some photos of the cool BEST 30 he had in Fortuna, CA Christmas lights parade!
Nice paint job btw. The most difficult paint to spray are lighter yellows, I have had to use a white base coat, otherwise keep on hosing the yellow to hide shadows, etc.
I will be glad when that D4 gets finished. A major cosmetic improvement. JM

JM. I’ll try to see if I can make it (schedule permitting). I will be at the Tulare antique show, I haven’t missed one in my 23 years of life and I don’t plan on starting next year. I’ll also be at SM. If you can, the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum has its shows the 3rd and 4th weekends of June and October. We have a lineup of some of our cats, and there’s a lot more. Come down if you can make it. And bring some equipment! I’m currently elbows deep in splitting a holt t35 trying to get it ready for next year. It’s gonna need a heart transplant as the cylinder block is completely cracked through. Luckily I have 2 other holt engines to donate parts. My plan is to have it at as many shows as possible for 2025. In time, I’ll throw a post up about the progress.

The orange in the picture probably looks red different due to the low angle of the sun, it’s overcast off in the distance creating a mie scattering of the shorter wavelength of light and there are hills right behind the camera that block a portion of the light as well. All of that adds more of a red appearance.
The paint was donated by a local AG business and it was purchased from the local Agco dealer, I added some hardner from Tractor Supply.

SoCal: Thanks for the invite. Some of your cronies the "Golden Greek" and the "Italian Stallion" attempted to persuade me into joining in on the fun at Vista.
We have a chapter meeting 1-18-25, if you like provide the date(s) of your show again and we can include it on the show roster. We should also remind folks about Brooks, OR as well; plenty of great shows out of our local radius. I am not getting any younger, and should go see the rest of the world before I cannot.
CR: Very tidy machines. Hope mine come out as nice. JM
