Moffatt Ranch? I suppose I could bid on a Marvin plow, but nowhere to use it, and my biggest crawler is a D7E high horse…
Daron: I meant berry bushes, the wild kind! Implement grave yards sort of speak!

Lol too funny Gary, that is member Mike Benedix. I was on FB with him the other day. Modesto, CA area. That B looks like its running away with the plow, I am pretty impressed. Thank you for sharing the YouTube video. JM

The BB has been a little slow lately, so how about a red trailing plow video of 17AFarmer plowing

Yeah, there ya go! Thanks again Gary. I have the urge to have a "play day" somewhere; Mike Benedix suggested a plow day as well, we have a mutual friend in Modesto that offered to host a gathering at his farm. Upside to that is his wife is a darned excellent cook/chef and loves to feed people, and he even has an air strip for light planes for anyone wanting to "drop in" instead of driving.
I might have to take a head count and see if we can do it this fall or in the spring. JM

Gary and Juiceman being I am still in possession of 180 inches of Stockton Gang Plows with the pull bar and bridles wouldn’t it be fun to put together a little demonstration of really old time plowing using original California plows, I would like to see these used one more time I am sure Gary and I are the only ones on this board with any knowlege or experience with Stocktons and neither one of us are spring chickens anymore, going back further my uncle and my father-in-law pulled them with 12 mule jerkline teams which was a California thing everybody else used 2 lines. 17afarmer

Juiceman.a plow day near me would be awesome.Pretty sure I know the guy.You need to get him on the BB
I took a video many years ago with a 8mm movie camera of a string of Stockton gangs plowing pulled by a D73T.I took the film to Thrifty to get developed. The film was either lost or stolen. They said lost.I believe stolen.I still look for it on YouTube.I know wishful thinking.Still makes me mad.I have never seen a good picture of a string of Stockton Gangs.
It was probably the last year we used the Stockton Gangs. We then went to an IH 12 18" and later a White 12 20"
Mike that would be awesome to see a string of Stockton Gangs hooked up again, let alone plowing.
I have a picture of 17AFarmers Stockton gang plows somewhere.
